Pokemon GO is a game that was popular in mid-2016. This game carries the technology of Augmented Reality (AR), so that interaction in the game with the environment is getting thicker.
Two years have passed since Niantic’s game was launched, Nintendolifereports that there has been an increase in Pokemon GO usage by 35 percent since May.
After the introduction of new social features in June, this game allowed 113 million friend connections and 2.2 billion distributed gifts. More than 400,000 trainers also participated in three global Pokemon Go events held in Dortmund, Germany, Chicago, USA and Yokosuka, Japan.
Millions of people reportedly joined this event. Niantic believes this social feature highlights the community’s desire to interact with each other.

Our experience this summer deepens the belief that technology can be used to improve our lives in a positive way and bring us all closer and strengthen our relationships with society, where we live and play, “said Niantic CEO John Hanke.
Niantic is working on some “surprises” for GO this fall with the aim of giving trainers more ways to play games together.
